“I was diagnosed with ADHD and Autism in my 30s and was struggling to discern who I really was beneath the ‘masking’. I felt like I couldn’t trust myself or really know when I was being authentic vs when I was playing a role I’d taught myself to play as a survival mechanism when growing up and trying to fit in, but not really understanding why I found everything so difficult. This, along with re-learning who I am since becoming a mother was playing out in my business in a big way, but also on a profound personal level, fuelling fears of abandonment, persecution and judgement.
